These selected artworks exists solely within an assortment of sketchbooks, notebooks, and journals. They represent my experimentations in technique, format, and express my affinity to the handmade arts. With the advent of social media, digital art tools, and advances in artificial intelligence, it is important for me to retain a connection to the creative process by drawing and painting with tools in hand, to make artwork that appears raw and incomplete. My hope is to inspire budding artists to look beyond the ultra-polished, efficiently rendered art images seen on social media to create art with human flaws, happy accidents, and flourishes of “mistakes” that hint at traces of the creative human spirit.
